The base of each brooch is a laminate counter sample 1 3/4" x 2 5/8." The sample is collaged with paper, stickers, and other objects on both sides. The edges are bound with copper tape and then rubbed with an antiquing cream. The whole brooch is then given 3 coats of varnish. Each brooch hangs from a kilt pin and is embellished with charms and beads.

These brooches can also be worn as necklaces (included).

Care: Although the brooch is water resistant, it should be kept dry. Clean with a damp cloth. Keep out of the sun, and do not leave in a hot car. Keep away from children, as the kilt pin is sharp and there are small parts.
